Job Summary
- Requirement gathering, business and system analysis and translating requirements into functional/technical specifications
- Prepare technical specifications and prototype for the software solution
- Prepare time and cost estimates after the preliminary analysis
- Develop flow charts, entity-relationship diagram and prepare user manuals
- Assist business users to prioritize the development tasks and advise the global delivery organization for the development tasks
- Train the business users as well as support production issues
- Resolve High priority tasks that have a financial impact at the earliest
- Work with the business users and IT teams to analyze specific requirements and generate the required functionality - Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization s efficiency and effectiveness
- Produce weekly status reports for the business users as well as the managers
- Skills in any/all of the following:
CLP, RPG, RPGLE, RPG free format, SYNON, Web Services, LANSA, LANSA for Web, Visual LANSA, Duck Creek, REST APIs - Experience in modernizing legacy applications to a Micro-service based architecture
- Experience in using project tracking tools like JIRA
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking
Experience Required :
