Development / sustenance / enhancement of VoIP Protocols (H.323/SIP/MGCP) and VoIP productsGood C/ C++ programming and design skillsGood knowledge for data structures and multi threaded applications on VxWorks / Tornado environment.Version control / Configuration management tools: Clear case / CVSGood performer, quick learner and good debugging, analysis and problem solving skills and a team playerDesign and development of Multi-lingual Embedded GUI would be an added advantage

Minimum Requirements

1. H.323 Protocol Stacks:Experience in H.323 Stack (H225 / RAS / Q.931 / H.245) and H.324m StackExperience in developing H.323 VoIP endpoints, Gatekeepers/MCU/Gateway products, VoIP 3G Mobile devicesExperience in VoIP Algorithms and Audio/Video compression standards.2. SIP Protocol stacks:SIP/SIP-T, SDP, RTP, RTCP, RTSP.Prior product development experience in SIP IP Phones, Proxy servers, Redirect servers, Application servers.Knowledge in SIP extensions, SIP Presence, SIP based messaging is mandatory.3. Soft switches / Signaling and Media Gateways:Experience in Q.921 / Q.931 Stack (ISDN Standard) and Supplementary servicesExperience in VoATM, VoFR, VoCable, VoDSLBasic telecommunication network and familiarity with existing POTS standardsExperience in MGC, MG, Signaling Gateway, Session controllers, Soft switch products4. Programming languages / RTOS / Others:Experience in RTOS: VxWorks / Tornado development platform is must.Strong background and expertise in C++ and C.Debugging tools: Tornado Debugger Tools / GDB / KGDB / Soft-ICE.Exposure to VoIP testing tools like Call generators, H.323 and SIP based Voice Call monitoring and Analyzer tools etc. and familiarity with scripting languagesExperience in HTTP client-server applications, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, TFTP, QoSExperience in Source code version control / configuration management tools: ClearCase, CVS etc.Experience in executing arm processor based embedded systems projects.
