Business Analyst Job in Ness Digital Engineering

Business Analyst is responsible for the design, development and testing of assigned projects. This involves the collection, analysis, and prioritization of requirements from the Product Management, Support, and other sources. Additionally, other responsibilities include writing design definitions and unit testing. Independently, the candidate must be able to solve complex tax software problems and strive to learn the business/customer requirements.

• Update Documentation in Confluence or equivalent system
• Mentor junior resources.

Qualifications:

• Four year accounting degree, advanced degree preferred, and 3+ years tax accounting experience.
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience is a must.
• Experienced in Agile Software Development Methodologies.
• The candidate must possess proficient knowledge of the tax aspects of tax compliance specializing in US Federal and/or state taxation specifically in the areas of 1040, 1041.

The following experiences are a plus:

Knowledge in US Corporate tax compliance like 1120, 1120S, 1065 and 990 is a big plus.
Prior use of tax compliance software and prior experience in tax software development.

Flexibility

Need to be flexible with respect to working times, provide overlap with US (Central Time) on an ongoing basis

Responsibilities:

• Perform requirement analysis and translate that into requirements understandable byprogrammers/testers.
• Prepares and conducts presentations for various user areas and staff levels, including management
• Creates and maintains well designed and written test plans
• Write Detailed User Stories, Acceptance Criteria
• Create Flow Diagrams
