This role will be responsible for researching & developing new solutions; architecting, developing, implementing and troubleshooting new functionality. They will assume ownership and accountability for various strategic initiatives and will drive the growth of the product. Moreover, the role requires strategic thinking, challenging existing approaches and a truly innovative spirit.Responsibilities

• Architect, implement and support features using a variety of technologies/languages
• Research and develop new functionality using 3rd party technologies, tools & libraries; including making recommendations & creating Proof of Concepts (POCs)
• Develop, code and modify new and existing modules to address business requirements
• Translate business requirements into functional, technical and architectural requirements
• Collaborate with other development team members to resolve dependent tasks and coordinate with QA team to create test plans
• Develop and deliver product using Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Document bug fixes, feature functionalities and implementation

• Education: Bachelor of Science in a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of development coding experience
• [Database experience SQL & NoSQL?]
• Solid understanding of voice technologies including SIP (Session Initiated Protocol) experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing with Java
• Experience & interest in R&D (Researching & Develop) of 3rd party technologies, tools & libraries to lead to the creation of POCs (Proof of Concepts)
• Ability to understand & interpret what architectural requirements into development needs
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of Agile Software Development practices
• Ability to work as an individual contributor and team collaborator
• Willingness to take risks and ability to learn fast from failures with a fail fast approach

• Working knowledge on any of the VOIP or UCAAS solutions
• Familiarity and implementation of Rest API(s) and Micro-service architecture are desirable

• Education: Bachelor of Science in a related field
