Senior Software Engineer (.net)Business Unit: Vertical SolutionsProject: SAMMSLocation: PuneExperience: 7+Description:Position Summary: Use Microsoft technologies: VB.net, ASP.NET, SQL and MVC to develop technical solutions in a Healthcare/Medical billing environment. The role will require the Candidate to develop and support multiple Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Medical Billing applications for clients across the United States.Skills and Experience Required:
Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements
Develop, maintain and support programs/tools for internal and external clients
Analyze, diagnose and resolve errors related to their applications
Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
Investigate operational or systematic problems and user queries as required
EDI x12 5010 Medical transaction sets 837,835,270,271 file creation and parsing
Years of Experience and Education required:Bachelor's degree in CS from an accredited four-year institution
7+ years experience in application design, development and/or maintenance
Demonstrated skills in the following areas are preferred:Experience in using VB.NET for developing WinForms and web applications
A good understanding of T-SQL, MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS
A solid understanding of OOP principles
A good understanding of N-tier and N-layered architecture
Experience in Dev Express Windows forms controls, specifically data grids and scheduler controls a plus
Experience in Healthcare a plus
Experience in EDI x12 transaction set a plus
