We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new leads, pitching products and services, managing client relationships, and helping drive overall business growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Source new sales opportunities through outbound and inbound lead follow-ups.
  • Client Interaction: Understand customer needs and present suitable solutions, including product demos and proposals.
  • Sales Pipeline: Route qualified opportunities to the relevant sales executives and follow through to closure.
  • Target Achievement: Close sales and meet or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas.
  • Research & Analysis: Research potential markets, identify key players, and develop strategies to generate interest.
  • Database Management: Maintain and expand a database of prospects within your territory.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and channel partners to build a strong pipeline and convert leads.
  • Customer Engagement: Follow up with existing and new clients via phone and email to maintain strong, ongoing relationships.
  • Reporting: Maintain daily and weekly activity reports in a structured and professional manner.
  • Client Retention: Provide excellent post-sales support and relationship management to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and convincing abilities.
  • Confident in outbound calling and email follow-ups.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and internet/web applications.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate or MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in BPO, CRM, or IT sales is an added advantage.
