Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop quality, proficient and well documented technical solutions that satisfy business requirements and meets corporate architectural standards
- Quick understanding of Product design, issues and improvement areas.
- Fix bugs and strive for enterprise grade quality.
- Contribute/drive technological and architectural decisions
- Actively participate in design and code review
- Adhere to agile development principles while following and improving all aspects of the scrum process
- Provide assistance to support engineers and customer service staff in order to quickly resolve production issues
Qualifications - Essential:
- Degree in Computer Science/Industrial/Electronic Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience working in software Industry as a software engineer.
- Strong OO design and code skills.
- Software development experience in Java, Java-Spring, Multithreading, Junit, Linux, Git.
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience using MySql, MS-SQL.
- Ability and desire to take full ownership of the feature, not restricting towards technologies.
- Ability to quickly switch to alternative technology frameworks as and when needed.
- Experience working with agile software development methodology.
- Great initiative, proven ability to tackle projects with a can do attitude.
- Passion to learn new technologies, perform hands on POCs.
- Strong Troubleshooting skills, problem solving and analyticalskills.
- Experienced working on Linux and/or Unix
- Excellent communication & documentation skills and a good team player.
Qualifications - Desired:
- Familiarity and/or experience with public cloud infrastructures and technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Trading compliance knowledge will be added advantage.
- Desired Skills Scala.
