Our COO IT Application business group is looking for proactive, experienced candidate with technical understanding about the application landscape to join their new team as an

IT application owner

The overall objective for this position is to have a strong candidate ensuring successful agile project execution and delivery in the Group Functions application landscape. Group Functions is the IT team supporting end2end the following business domain: HR, Quality, Legal & Compliance, Real Estate.

The current application landscape is in front of significant development and standardization requiring a candidate with the right mindset to understand which application development activities leads to transformed and renewed landscape by utilizing the latest available technology to foster refresh of the new innovative application landscape.

Key Responsibilities / Functions:

• Ensure application is enabling business processes and meeting business requirements
• Coordinate and supporting to solve the availability incidents, problems and changes collaborative with other IT Component owners (Windows, DB, Webs SO Teams, AD Teams) based on ITIL Framework
• Coordinate and solving performance and security relevant issues on the application level and lower level components effecting the application.
• Coordinate and solving the integration to other systems based issues (data feeds).
• Finding a workaround and/or following bugs and unexpected behaviors on application level, providing release notes from vendor based on updates
• Monitor the application level components (jobs, data feeds, notifications etc.) and reporting
• Manage continuous service and technical improvements to the service based on ITIL framework
• Upgrades, quick fixes, patches to be applied to application
• Support application development work from technical maintenance and support perspective during the development

Job requirements:

• 3-5 years of IT development experience required
• Proven expertise with one and more of the following
  • Web UI ( JavaScript, Html, CSS, JS framework & Library (Angular.js, React.js, Jquery...)
  • Python ( DataFrame, REST API call)
  • .NET ( C#, MVC, ASP.Net)
  • Azure Tools ( PaaS deployement, Azure function, Storage, Automation tool)
  • Azure Workflow Management System ( Microsoft Workflow Foundation (.NET))
  • ADF: Azure Data Factory
  • PL SQL/Oracle / MS SQL
• Experience in working with Agile methodology / DevOps environment
• Experience in Data Modelling and Visualization (Power Query, Power BI)
• Experience in web-based software development and software deployment processes
• Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success
• Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment
• Expertise in Application lifecycle management
• Expertise in Application harmonization/streamlining of landscape
• Excellent oral and written communication / presentation skills
• Languages: English required

• Industry, Market & Technology Understanding
• Information security understanding
• Application / solution architecture understanding
• Self-confident, strong problem solving
