Thenewly established Nokia Software (NSW) business group within Nokia is leadingthe charter to build an independent software business with its focus on OSS,BSS, SDP and the emerging areas of Cloud, IOT, Security and Analytics.

JobPosition Summary Description:

ProfessionalServices is a significant part of the NSW business. The Global Delivery Centers(GDC) are in charge to deliver assigned remote services and associated work packagesper target delivery model and practices.

GDC willhave domain specific stream and these streams will have has the mission toscale and adapt the workforce focused to service delivery aligned with businessand portfolio evolution for the domain. While maintaining an optimalsourcing model to ensure best in class talent evolution with competitiveutilization and overall efficiency.

KeyResponsibilities / Functions:

RoleDescription:

  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent subject
  • 10+ years of Tech experience with 7+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale application/system/platform/integration architectures
  • Proven strong technical architecture and design skills in variety of systems such as Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, ReactJS, node.js, Python
  • Experience working in engineering practices such as pair programming, continuous integration, test driven development and incremental design
  • Experience in ELK, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Maria DB will be an additional plus
  • Experience using testing frameworks such Junit/Selenium/Cucumber on a daily basis and writing code without tests
  • Knowledge on IT Application architecture, Design methodologies across multiple platforms
  • Experience with code refactoring, design patterns, design driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, application security
  • Understanding of Single sign on, LDAP, Enterprise Search, Cognitive services and Natural Language processing a plus
  • Experience with Microservice based architecture and containerization technologies such as docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
  • Understanding of data modeling, PL/SQL and NoSQL
  • Experience with build tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Gerrit, Sonar Cube, Artifactory
  • Understanding of non-functional areas like performance, scalability studies, human interaction, software ergonomics and security
  • Advanced understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization strategies and best practices
  • Knowledge of agile software development process
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
  • Building strong relationships with business partners, technology teams, and internal development communities
  • Effectively participates in business process reviews and can facilitate journey mapping efforts Proactively identify opportunities for development and automation
  • Work with Product Leads and Market Delivery teams for program delivery
  • Team Capacity and Competence Build Up, Partner Management
  • Work with team of Lead Architects, Program managers and Delivery managers.
  • Identifies and supports new business opportunities, pre-sales
  • Escalation Management and stakeholder management
  • Drive Delivery excellence for the domain area
  • Management Reporting/Presentations

InternalInterfaces:

  • The Market Services organizations: for programs where there is GDC ownership in the target MoO
  • Domain Competence Centers: Demand/Supply plans, Project Deliverables, Escalations, pre-sales requests
  • R&D Teams to ensure Competency development and Delivery Excellence/Tooling

RequiredQualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

  • Technical Degree mandatory
  • 10 years minimal experience in Telco or IT industry selling software and services. function
  • Strong software services selling skills, including extensive experience calling on key executives in large accounts
  • Proven experience in value selling.
  • Multilingual
