Job Summary


Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • The Training & Communications Manager role helps the organization with managing training and enable effective change management within the organization. The incumbent will lead the Global TPRM and HuRi program in planning, development and execution of training and communication in alignment with the Global ERC and TPRM & HuRi training and communication strategy.
  • Proactive & strategic approach to strengthen Training and communication programs: Take the TPRM & HuRi training and communication Program to best-in-class level and stay ahead of development of learning requirements.
  • Prepare annual training and awareness creation calendar and budget planProvide Thought Leadership & top-expertise in all relevant training areas: Manage the change management & support the awareness creation of the implementation of policies, procedures, implementation guidelines that adequately and effectively address all relevant training elements.
  • Embed training and communication programs into Business Operations: Manage & support the development, delivery & coordinate delivery of TPRM trainings to all relevant stakeholders within Novartis (e.g. Business Owners, FRA, Procurement, Risk areas etc.).
  • Establish and drive a multi-channel training strategy online, classroom, e-learning etc
  • Drive external benchmarking of latest compliance training development, trends in adult and virtual leaning
    Independently manage the preparation of tools and activities that support the roll-out and communication of TPRM & HuRi owned policies and guidelines
  • Administer the Training SharePoint sites and use other relevant tools (Yammer etc.) to optimize the effectiveness of training Initiatives and facilitate cross divisional team collaboration.
  • Work with the TPRM functions to establish, maintain and execute a concise yearly communication plan. Support the Improvement of the Novartis internal awareness and reputation of TPRM through concise and targeted communications and updates through the Novartis communication channels

Minimum requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing training, change management and communication in a large set-up
  • Knowledge and experience in Ethics, Risk and Compliance an advantage
  • Ability to work with cross functional and cross cultural teams within a matrix organization
  • Experience with balancing global standards and local cultures
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate within and across cross-functional teams and business units, in amatrixed environment
  • Change management experience in large organizations
