Job Summary
You would be responsible for:
Test Automation scripts designing and maintenance for Web/Mobile applications
Build a framework to enable the software s functional and non-functional quality
aspects
Covering all possible scenarios in the specs and all corner cases
Mentoring the juniors and interns
End to end ownership of modules

Your typical day at work:
Designing and maintaining test artifacts
Understand the Technical Specs and Requirements of the project
Develop and maintain a test automation framework
Comprehensively list test cases, covering all possible scenarios
Tracking of bugs in production and followup with dev teams for the fixes
Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders including other
engineers, business teams and product management.
Punctuality, sincerity, teamwork, and adherence to timelines
Ability to prioritize test scripts and projects based on their criticality and severity
What you should know (Skillset)
Good problem solving and complexity analysis skills.
Deep understanding of smoke, sanity, regression and retesting
Ability to write clean, modular, reusable, scalable, efficient, well documented and unit
tested code to solve business problems
Have experience in automating either Web or Mobile Applications.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
Exposure to tools like JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Webdriver, Postman, Appium, Jenkins,
Jmeter, etc.
Hands-on experience in Backend API test automation and related frameworks.
Hands-on experience in Frontend Web and Mobile App test automation.
Hands-on experience and understanding of a typical Web Application Stack
Understanding of REST Standards, HTTP protocol, API standards
SQL skills for debugging and automation
Basic Linux exposure to execute automation suites
What we would also like:
2-5 years of experience, preferably in Financial Services, Retail Banking or Payments
Have a Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant discipline
Have knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, QA process, methodologies, and
best practices
It would be a plus if you have experience with one or more of the following:
Jmeter
Postman
Microservices
Load Testing/Performance Testing
