Roles and Responsibilities

• Work and resolve incidents with proper technical update and artefacts
• Failover testing of the Network Equipment s (Routers/Firewalls/ MPLS links)
• Responsible for management of the IP address database.
• Responsible for maintaining the Firewall CMDB.
• Network device health monitoring through various NMS tools.
• Threshold monitoring of network devices and taking appropriate action on violation.
• Working closely with other IT team and collaborating with other IT staff
• Responsible for planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking new network related roll out.
• Participate in undertaking routine Preventative measures.
• Strict adherence to customer policies and processes
• Continuous guidance to L1 team.
• Raising RFC and implementing the same within downtime window
• Thorough experience on Firewalls like ASA/Fortigates/Checkpoint/Juniper SRX/ Paloalto
• Thorough experience in Load Balancers
• Understanding of packet flow within firewall.
• Hands-on experience of deployment of Fortigate, Cisco and Palo Alto Firewall.
• Access Policy, Service Policy, various NAT policies, Object-group creation on Firewalls
• Packet sniffing/capture for troubleshooting access issues.
• In depth knowledge of IP Sec and SSL VPN configuration and Troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting various performance and access issue in firewall.
• Firewall firmware upgrade.
• Firewall configuration backup and restoration.
• Configure HA in active-passive and active-active mode.
• IPS, Web/URL-filtering
• Thorough experience on Routing / Switching & it s troubleshooting
• Routing protocols ie. Static Routes, EIGRP, OSPF and BGP.
• Switching Topologies, VLANs, STP and Port Security
• Creation of AV Policy, Malware Protection policy, Wildfire, DDOS protection on firewall.
• Palo Alto Panorama configuration and Troubleshooting.
• In depth knowledge of routing protocol.
• Understanding the customer requirement clearly and design the solutions accordingly.
• Preparing Network Diagrams
• Preparing RCA reports
