Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Process Lead / Process Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process design and engineering within sectors such as oil & gas, refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers, or chemical process plants. This role involves technical review and enhancement of basic engineering packages (BEPs), ensuring optimum operability, and driving value engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Basic Engineering Package (BEP) Review
- Analyze and provide value-added recommendations to basic engineering packages for improved operational efficiency.
- Identify areas for optimization in plant operability and process control.
Process Design Optimization
- Provide technical input for the design and selection of pumps, control valves, and other critical process equipment.
- Review and validate process data sheets for control valves, flow transmitters, level instruments, etc.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Lead and participate in internal departmental meetings, client discussions, vendor interactions, and management reviews.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication across all project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (Master s preferred for senior roles)
- 5 to 20 years of experience in process engineering in relevant industries
- Strong understanding of process instrumentation, control systems, and equipment design
- Proven ability to review and improve basic engineering documentation
- Effective leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Industry Experience:
- EPC/EPCM companies or plant owners in sectors including:
- Oil & Gas
- Refineries
- Petrochemicals
- Fertilizers
- Chemical Process Plants
