Title: Kafka Data Architect

Remote

Long term contract

Lead messaging modelling, persistent data modelling, normalization, transform, migrate, cleanse and all other aspects relating to data; Understand implications of data upstream and downstream; Make key decisions on technology and tools to implement from a data platform technology standpoint; Thorough understanding of Kafka, producer / consumer / topic technologies and drive implementation of the technology; Maintain costs from a Bill of Materials perspective being able to justify spend; Estimate work effort for data related technologies; Ability to innovate on the latest technologies; Lead cloud hosted data persistence technologies for redundancy, resiliency, performance, maintenance and sizing; Docker experience is a must; Openshift experience.
