Job Summary Designing and managing the DNS/Kerberos/LDAP systems that run on various Unix/Linux systemsBuild & execute patch/install strategy on UNIX & Linux systemsInteractions with vendors as it relates to vulnerabilities and impacting (or high risk) defectsPerform In depth analysis on patch requirements, and develop action plans for execution of patching updates that will remediate vulnerabilities as expectedProvide/document change execution procedures as required by the Change Management process and toolEvolve the patching process to an automated process as the team and processes mature over timePerform patching activities where required manually, and as available, by way of leveraging mass automation through the HP Server Automation toolAssist with providing a readily accessible data back up to allow for the restoration of filesAssist with upgrades, replacement, and repair of existing servers and support the upgrade of applicationsA team player with a pro-active approach, commitment, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
