About the Team You ll be reporting to Prerna Saxena, our Senior Engineering Manager who has been with Nutanix since 2015. Prerna leads a supportive and collaborative team of 9 engineers, dedicated to helping each other grow and succeed. How We Work: We operate in a hybrid work environment, with in-person team meetings twice a week to brainstorm, connect, and stay aligned. This balance of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration creates a dynamic and productive environment. Your Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: Apply rock-solid OS/systems fundamentals to drive design and implementation. Debug and write low-level code for hardware architectures, preferably x86. Write and maintain enterprise-quality code. Use top-down thinking to break down abstract concepts into actionable tasks. Deliver features with proven experience in building scalable, reliable enterprise software. What You Bring Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 8+ years of experience building enterprise-grade software. Strong knowledge of x86 virtualization and the KVM stack. Experience with Linux kernel/virtualization stack is a big plus. Proven track record of feature delivery in large, complex projects. Work Arrangement Hybrid: This role blends the flexibility of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. Most roles require 2 3 in-office days per week, but specific team norms may vary.
Qualification :
Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
