Job Summary
1. Incumbent will be defining the overall architecture and choose the best technologies, components and subsystems on different server side tech.
2. Driving innovations in the product constantly to remain ahead of the curve.
3. Serve as a thought leader and mentor on technical, architectural, design and related issues.
4. Proactively identify architectural weaknesses and recommending appropriate solutions.
5. Balance short-term versus long-term actions, strategic versus tactical requirements, while continuing to move forward towards the strategic vision.
6. Collaborate with cross functional teams to solve complex problems and building products spanning across multiple teams to deliver end-to-end products & features
7. Estimates efforts, identify risks, devises and meets project schedules
8. Provide functional, design, and code reviews in related areas of expertise with-in team and cross-team.
9. Mentor / coach engineers to facilitate their development and provide technical leadership to them. 1. 7+ years of strong server-side software design/development experience in building massively large scale distributed internet systems and products
2. Experience of building large scale distributed systems from scratch
3. Good experience in working with Node.JS, NoSQL systems
4. Excellent computer fundamentals and problem solving skills
5. Experience and knowledge of open source software, frameworks and broader cutting edge technologies around server side development
6. Superior organization, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
7. Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoy challenging assignments in a high-energy, fast growing and start-up workplace
8. Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimalguidance and in fluid environment
9. Must be excited by challenges surrounding the development of highly scalable & distributed system for building audience targeting capabilities
10. Willingness and demonstrated ability to be hands on and close to the technology
Qualification : BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent from premier institute
One97 is looking for a hands on Technical Architects who will be responsible for architecting solutions for projects at Paytm/One97 that require a solid grounding in Java/ Node.js and the ability to lead a talented team.
