Account Executive - Smart City Solutions Job in Open Access Technology International, Inc.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related discipline
• Experience with AMI/AMR and related technology
• Minimum of 10 years of sales experience or equivalent, including exposure to utility/distribution industry
• Proven success identifying and closing new business
• Broad knowledge of the fundamental constructs of smart cities
• Broad knowledge of the fundamental constructs of AMI or AMR or metering systems in general
• Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships at all levels, including C-level staff
• Ability to build and manage a large, multi-year pipeline
• Customer-centric mindset, ability to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions
• Strong ability to work in a team environment
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
• U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident

Other Requirements:

• The position will focus on municipal owned electric utilities.
• Knowledge or experience with municipal owned utility business processes and budget cycles
• Travel: Expected 50%+
• Acceptable background investigation report
