Job Summary
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related discipline
  • Experience and/or knowledge with AMI/AMR and related technology
  • Experience and/or knowledge with load control, demand management, DERs, smart thermostat programs and technology
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience or equivalent, including exposure to utility/distribution industry
  • Understanding and or willingness to learn about the impacts of and opportunities created by FERC order 2222
  • Proven success identifying and closing new business
  • Knowledge of the fundamental constructs of electric utilities
  • Ability to develop and maintain large and complex customer relationships at all levels, including C-level staff
  • Ability to build and manage a large, multi-year pipeline
  • Customer-centric mindset, ability to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions
  • Strong ability to work in a team environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
  • Fully skilled with standard desk top tools
  • U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
