Manager Job in Open Financial Technologies : Business Payment Platform For Smes, Startups & Freelancers

What you will be doing: Provide contractual, legal, and regulatory support for all activities of the Company. Track banking and payments regulations in India and execute related compliance actions. Undertake in-depth legal research into a variety of complex regulations and help implement processes and policies. Contract Lifecycle Management: You should have the ability to independently structure, draft, review, negotiate, execute, and maintain contracts efficiently. Negotiation: You will be required to negotiate contracts with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (including regulatory bodies and financial institutions). Legal Opinion: You should be able to advise, support and guide stakeholders by providing well-reasoned legal opinions. You will be required to provide general day to day legal advice and support to other departments including Banking Alliances, Product, Finance, Sales & Marketing, People & Culture, Risk & KYC, etc. Disputes: You will be required to coordinate with law enforcement and statutory authorities. You should be able to draft notices and prepare responses to notices received by the Company What you ll bring along: Qualifications: 5 years LLB from a prestigious university in India. Experience: 7+ years post qualification experience in a law firm or in the corporate legal department. Prior working experience on banking, payments and/or fintech matters is a must Strong written and oral communication skills in English Ability to manage a large number and variety of mission-critical projects Experience in dealing with a broad range of product compliance issues, including all laws and regulations relating to product compliance.
