Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate functional requirements into user-centered robotic designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.
• Develop creative concepts for robot enclosures, ensuring integration of functionality, manufacturability, and user experience.
• Utilize your knowledge of wire harness design, wire routing, sheet metal design, and plastic design to create efficient and reliable robotic systems.
• Leverage CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Solid Edge) to create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and assembly instructions for robotic components.
• Conduct design reviews and collaborate with engineers to ensure that designs meet both technical specifications and production feasibility.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in industrial design, robotics technology, and innovative materials to incorporate cutting-edge features into your designs.
• Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure that designs are optimized for production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in prototyping activities, providing feedback and iterating on designs to refine them for optimal performance and usability.

Key Skills:

• Proven ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, functional, and user-centered designs.
• Strong understanding of wire harness design, wire routing techniques, sheet metal design, and plastic design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Solid Edge) for creating 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for creating user-centered designs that blend form and function.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Special Skills:

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material properties to design for production.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in industrial design, with a focus on robotics or mechanical product design.
