Job Summary Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with expertise in application design, development, and architecture to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Java 8+, Microservices, and related technologies, along with a passion for problem-solving and delivering high-quality solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, and utilizing various technologies to drive software development and enhance system efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Review technical design recommendations for developing and integrating programs per written specifications, ensuring optimal design implementation. Ensure adherence to Application Engineering guidelines, processes, and procedures. Collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals to achieve common objectives. Utilize multiple programming languages and software technologies for effective application development and maintenance. Evaluate service level issues and suggested enhancements escalated by the Service Delivery Team to diagnose and resolve underlying system problems. Write exemplary code following defined quality standards, coding practices, and architectural principles. Mentor team members on technical best practices and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Assess, select, and adopt key technologies to drive software development and enhance operational efficiency. Focus on customer-centric delivery and successful project execution. Design and develop Microservices APIs with a focus on scalability and performance. Analyze system performance, propose solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of architectural designs. Conduct performance testing and tuning in high-throughput, low-latency environments. Document software development processes and architectural decisions. Handle client-facing meetings and provide technical support as required. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Applications, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in application design, implementation, and architecture. Expertise in Java 8+, J2EE technologies, and Java design patterns. Proven experience in designing and developing Microservices APIs. Proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud for Microservices development. Hands-on experience with JDK 1.8, Maven, Git/BitBucket, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Experience with Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring Web Flow, and Spring Eureka for service discovery and registration. Familiarity with ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, Zipkin, and Hystrix for logging, tracing, and fault tolerance. Strong experience with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. In-depth knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Experience with tools like Sonar, Jacoco, and JUnit for code quality and unit testing. Knowledge of JWT for secure token-based authentication. Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum and SAFe. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with payment domain and transaction management is highly desirable. Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams and third parties. Optional Skills: Experience with Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Wicket and GWT for web application development. Technical Skills: GitHub J2EE JPA/Hibernate Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data JPA) Confluence, JIRA, and Rally JUnit, Mockito, and JMock for testing SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, MongoDB) Eclipse/Kscope IDE Linux JWT Sonar CI/CD tools Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
