Product Manager :

Parallel is a product strategy and design studio where we care about designing products that matter. We focus on planning and designing high-impact products ones that are citizen-focused, affect tons of people, and/or tackle important problems. We make these products look better, but more importantly, we make them work better for the millions of people using them.

Our newest practice 'data-driven design' approaches design from an analytical standpoint leveraging user and product interactions to drive critical design decisions. We are working with a large number of marquee clients on high-impact projects spanning ed-tech, fintech, and of course e-commerce.

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead one or more of these projects working alongside business, engineering, and our team of designers and data scientists to build kick-ass products.

Role

Here's what you'll do every day in this role -

  • Develop product strategies and long-term product vision in collaboration with business, engineering, and design teams.
  • Conduct user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers, developers, and research teams from end to end of the process.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and understand customer journeys through a variety of data sources including google analytics, firebase, mix-panel, hot jar, etc.
  • Ability to craft a product vision (short and long term) and convert that into a concrete strategy. And being able to present and lead the vision for the whole team.
  • Participate in market research, validation, and whitespace analysis to identify new opportunities for new and existing features and functionalities.
  • Partner with business owners and agile product teams to build product roadmaps that will be incorporated into the broader company product portfolio plan.
  • Create and project manage data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into an information product.
  • Work on analyzing large data sets to identify business opportunities/efficiencies.

Note: This role will be remote for now, but we're looking forward to bringing you into our Bangalore office once it's safe to do so.
