About the Role

We are seeking a talented and proactive DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be skilled in automating, monitoring, and maintaining infrastructure and deployments to ensure continuous integration, continuous delivery, and a smooth deployment pipeline. You will work closely with development and IT teams to streamline processes and improve system reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable software releases.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design, deploy, and scale applications and systems.
  • Manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and failures.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources and implement cost-saving practices.
  • Maintain and improve deployment workflows and release management.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, SaltStack).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with database management (SQL/NoSQL) and data pipeline automation.
