Application Developers Job in Patra Corporation

Patra has opportunities available for qualified Web Developers with skills and an eye for UI aesthetics to join the team. The individuals in this role will be primarily responsible for design and development of web application User Interfaces (UI) and User Experiences (UX), but will also be required to contribute to the successful roll out and upkeep of existing applications through functional analysis, configuration and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Senior Software Developer, responsibilities will include programming and maintaining Alpha 5 web applications, including front-end functions (reports, queries, and forms), security features, and permissions.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of software development experience preferred. Equivalent combination of experience, education and training will be considered
• Web-based application development experience is preferred (Alpha 5 is a strong plus)
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, JavaScript, PHP, .NET
• Experience with web publishing technologies including HTML and CSS
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving application performance issues
• Understanding and some experience with responsive design patterns is strongly preferred
• Experience must include a strong grasp for relational databases. Passing parameters from application to stored procedures, querying from Views to return data, etc.
• Excellent data modeling, programming, testing, and debugging skills
• Ability to create TSQL queries
• Solid English written and spoken communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, and Access
• Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
• Programming/scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle is preferred

DESIRED

• Alpha 5 application development experience a strong plus
• Microsoft certifications are a plus
