Role overview & Purpose

This role is key in supporting the implementation and administration of global compensation programs, including but not limited to base pay administration, long and short term incentive plans, sales incentive plans, job structure framework/position management, compensation benchmarking and analysis relating to pay equity.

This role will report to the Reward Director and work closely with the other Reward COE team members.

Key Deliverables

? Interprets the directions and supports on conducting analysis on internal and external salary statistics

? Support in design of enterprise level plans and programs for Pearson under the overall leadership of the SVP for Total Rewards, working closely within the Reward COE in providing analysis support

? Provides support for the assessment, design, implementation as well as administration of compensation and rewards programs and policies globally

? Gathers data and prepares survey submission for participation in various external salary compensation surveys

? Analyses market data applying range development methodology where we have fresh data and propose ranges or set of ranges

? Understands the patterns and market trends of compensation and benefit philosophies of competitors

? Designs and maintains compensation dashboards, assists in completing a variety of pay data analyses, program usage and effectiveness reviews, and refreshes ranges information and source files/master tables for dynamic pay position analysis.

? Creates and maintains various tools in line with the agenda to simply the ways of working for example managing the global pay tool, Sales Incentive design tool. Provides support in communication and roll out of various initiatives related to Total Reward topics

? Creates and maintains templates and maps the market trend of salary increase projections, inflation from various market reports and government sources to facilitate the finalization of salary budgets for finance approvals

? Supports in preparation of the template for modeling the bonus funding numbers to be used by the business as basis for the overall company rewards funding

? Supports in the creation of scenarios for carrying out testing/validations for existing and new functionalities for the workforce compensation and any other Reward technology tool

? Partners on Global Reward projects as assigned

Qualifications

Skills/ Experience

Essential Skills and Experience

? 3 - 5 years in compensation analysis with working knowledge of company compensation plans/programs, external job structure and leveling frameworks

? Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of macros will be preferred

? Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

? Excellent in Data Mining, Data analysis, Number Crunching

? Engages in analytic and pragmatic problem solving. Makes suggestions and provides information for innovative changes or improvements to the program

? Exhibits learning agility and active knowledge seeking along with a working knowledge of industry standards

? Excellent organization, time management, prioritization and planning skills. Must be able to manage multiple projects and project components with inter-related asset and timing dependencies

? Highly active ownership

? Financial Management Skills

Desired Education and Experience

? Bachelors Degree Required in Business Administration/Business Management/Human Resource Development Management/Mathematics or Statistics

? Experience working with remote Regional and Global Reward teams
