Position Summary

As part of a multidisciplinary team, BI admin will be responsible for installing and administrating the Oracle WebLogic Suite, installation, and configuration of all components of OBIEE version 12c, installation, Configuration, and Customization OBIA 11. The individual needs a strong proficiency in all aspects of BI applications - from solution design and configuration to deployment and administration.

Responsibilities

• Installation and configuration of all components of OBIEE version 12 and above, RPD and Dashboard Development

• Installation, Configuration, and Customization of OBIA, WebLogic, ODI 11.1.1.9 and above, Oracle ODI Load Plans, Custom Oracle ODI Load Plans

• Extending out-of-the-box OBIA RPD with custom fact tables and metrics

• Provide 24x7 on-call support in the production environment on a rotation basis

• Participating in installation, configuration, and patching activities

• Analyzing all middleware components and recommending modifications that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability, and scalability

• Assisting in manual application code deployments and automation.

• Conducting performance tuning to maintain system stability

• Troubleshooting to capture incident data and analyze for root cause issues

• Serving as a team player by working with colleagues and clients to identify and address overall system problems as needed

• Influencing management to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches as appropriate.

• The individual needs to be efficient, productive, and thorough dealing with our members over the phone. Strong computer and software navigation skills are critical.

Qualifications

Requirements

Due to the nature of this position, the applicant will need the ability to work from home or during off-hours as necessary.

• 7 years of relevant IT experience

• 3 years hands on OBIEE 12g (with ODI) installation/configuration/administration experience

• 3 years hands on OBIA 11.1.1.x installation/configuration/administration experience

• Strong knowledge of WebLogic Configuration, Administration, Performance tuning and RPD migration

• Functional knowledge of Oracle Database 12c and above

• Functional knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems

• Knowledge in Shell scripting, Python, WLST is a plus

• Experience in ETL tools, like ODI, Informatica and knowledge of SQL /PLSQL is a plus

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Required for the interview:

The ability to demonstrate work experience by providing report examples and source code.
