Senior Cloud Development Engineer - Testing Job in Pegasystems

Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud (PDC) is Cloud service product that is used throughout the application life cycle to assess the health of your application, notify you of critical issues and resolve performance and stability problems. We (Predictors Team) PDC scrum team involves developing applications on PRPC platform for application monitoring. This team involves end to end life cycle of PDC new enhancements including in Pega application development, Pega-AWS service development, Testing, Production deployment and Post production product support.

This team is primarily responsible for new enhancements to PDC application hosted on Pega cloud, supporting customer SRs and contributing to the PDC adoption as monitoring tool to help the customer success. This role will be a key resource that is responsible for software testing/quality and create scalable testing infrastructure ensure the we deliver the service with 100% quality.

In this role, you will be responsible for working with product managers, developers and designers in our agile team structure. Partner and collaborate with the engineering teams to achieve quality through continuous build, test automation, release engineering and software testability and Translate test plans and cases to code. We are seeking experienced technical professionals who can demonstrate creativity, teamwork, a results-driven attitude, and a dedication to customer success.

• Will be responsible for application quality and continues test integration with automation.
• Able to improve automation test coverage by adding more automation tests.
• Leverage best in class technologies to convert the use cases/requirements into test design, automation scripts and its implementation, test/build deployment and support
• Ensure that teams are enabled and equipped to deliver high-quality software that meets customer expectations - making sure that defects are identified and addressed early during development
• Continuous Monitoring on Devops, CI pipelines
• Producing and reporting the quality status to various stakeholders on the release
• Collaborate with Dev team members to understand the application from customers perspective and validate it to deliver product to with high quality
• Continuously innovate on the automation tools which will increase the productivity of the scrum teams
• Adhere to Pega development/ testing Best Practices
• Work as part of a collaborative Agile team working in a SCRUM model surrounded by fun loving talented engineers.

• Should have an experience on Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Junit, Selenium and Cucumber or any similar framework
• Experience with writing test cases and executing test cases
• Experience using the following: Docker, Jenkins and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
• Experience using the following: Core Java/Ruby and tools like IntelliJ/Eclipse.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design
• Experience in REST API, performance and security testing tools
• Experience in non-functional testing like Localization and accessibility
• Experience with release testing activities like milestone builds testing
• Working experience in an agile/scrum team environment

• 4-5 years of experience serving as a Software Test Engineering is a must (manual and automation)
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or similar field
• Should have an experience on Core Java/Ruby/Perl, Object Oriented Programming or any other programming language for building test automation framework
• You have worked with testing frameworks like Junit, Test Runner, Selenium or any other web application testing framework.
• Should have expertise in Web application testing along with back end DB testing using SQL
• Good understanding on Software development methodologies and quality processes
• Agile/Scrum development methodology knowledge/experience
• Should have ability to interact with multiple stakeholders
• Partner with internal clients, like Product Managers, to deliver World-class software
• Should have experience of application integrations testing using REST/SOAP
