Software Development Engineer - Testing Job in Pegasystems

Pegas Robotics is a small group of talented and highly collaborative individuals exceled in integrating robots to Pega Robot Manager. We are a growing global team supporting the organization by ensuring we deliver a quality product in a timely manner.

• Delve into the world of Robotics using our Robot Manager application
• Work with the latest cloud technologies like AWS, Elastic Search, REST APIs, etc.

• Learn automation technics and develop skills to write automated tests using BDD, Selenium, Performance JMeter, etc. along with the internal automation tools

90% of your time will be consumed by performing below activities

Design and develop high quality software test cases and test plans which are fit for the purpose described by the technical requirements

• Work closely with development
• Maintain and add to existing UI automations to improve the automation coverage of the product
• Create and execute manual test cases
• Manage in-sprint testing for the feature development
• Manage bugs creation and verification
• Provide feedback on products based on ease of use and user interaction
• Research and keep up to date on industry standard testing methodologies and technologies
• Work closely with inter dependent teams to understand the product end-to-end
• Able to multiple task well under pressure

10% of your time will be consumed by performing below activities

• Other responsibilities and key result areas as required or assigned specific duty

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 2-3.5+ years professional experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
• Knowledge of complete software development cycle
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Ability to create and execute complex test plans
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Object oriented design and developmental skills, Java development experience is a plus
• Exposure to common web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Agile/Scrum development methodology experience

• Experienced in backend API test automation
• Experienced in integration test development is an added advantage
• Experienced in Web app UI automation
• Experienced working on Selenium framework
