Job Description
We are looking for an SEO Analyst to join our Marketing team and help us build a strong online presence.
SEO Analyst responsibilities include performing keyword research, optimizing our content and monitoring user engagement across our website. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with current SEO techniques and tools and have excellent analytical skills.
Ultimately, you will apply effective SEO strategies to ensure we attract and engage our target audience and convert visitors into customers.
Responsibilities
- Work within internal teams ensuring conformity to SEO/UX best practices
- Innovate and develop new strategies to increase SEO growth by working with MOZ, AHREFS, GA, etc
- Implementing backlinks
- Monitoring Google Analytics and Search Console
- Keyword/Competitive research
- Manage GMB Listings and Rankings
- Monthly Local and Technical SEO Audits/Reports
- Reporting results to the VP of Digital Marketing
- Contribute content for Blog, Press Releases, Award Submissions, Social etc
- Conceptualize and create share/linkworthy content, with SEO in mind
- Exceptional attention to detail and impeccable proofreading abilitySEO/SEM expertise and experience, as well as web analytics (specifically Google Analytics).
Requirements
- 1-5 years of digital marketing experience with a demonstrable emphasis on SEO (onsite and offsite)
- Post secondary education with a degree/diploma in digital marketing, business, or communications
- Strong interpersonal skills (your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively is key)
- Ability to self-direct and work independently
- Blend of creative and analytical skill and interest; need to be good friends with both letters and numbers
- Excellent command of the English language (writing, editing)
- Comfort with content management systems (Drupal)
- Affiliate marketing experience an asset
- Coding skills an asset but not required
