Job Summary

You will be Responsible for:

  • Responsible for performance monitoring, profiling, automated testing, continuous integration, performance optimization
  • Application monitoring, performance management and production support of mission-critical applications including application and system uptime and remote diagnostics
  • Instrument applications for performance baselines and to aid rapid diagnostics and resolution in case of system issues
  • Contribute to the documentation of the design and implementation of network, server and other systems (e.g. Ansible playbooks)
  • Automate provisioning and integration tasks as required to deploy new code
  • Create continuous integration scripts for automated code releases

You will have the skills:

Functional

  • You will have 4 - 7 years of experience
  • Clouds: practical experience running production or dev/test environments on AWS, VMware or other clouds.
  • OS Administration: RHEL/CentOS and at least one other Linux distribution. RHEL is a must
  • Virtualization: VMWare ESXi.
  • Containers: Good to have any.
  • Scripting languages: Bash, Perl, Unix
  • Advanced Linux system administration skills; patch management; firewall and port configurations
  • Monitoring: Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, Graphite (Good to have)
  • Configuration & deployment automation: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack.
  • Version control systems: Git, Subversion, CVS.
  • Build/CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven,
  • PAAS: OpenShift, CloudFoundry, Heroku.
  • Understanding of common network protocols: TCP/IP, NFS, DHCP, DNS, SMTP
  • Deployment, configuration, and administration of common middleware stacks: JBoss, Apache Tomcat, Jetty, Oracle Weblogic, IBM WebSphere, SpringSource dm Server, etc.
  • Datacenter security mechanisms
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, Git,
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with ANSIBLE, UNIX, Linux Platform.
  • Agile delivery experience highly desired
