Description

• The location for the role can be remote working.
• End-to-end ownership of multiple component(s) design and architecture
• Drive technical roadmap for the teams and provide long-term vision
• Review requirement and design documents with product architects
• Write technical requirements for various technical initiatives taken in the product
• Perform code reviews with the team and ensure the highest quality of codebase
• Work on simulations for breakthrough functional and technical performance
• Improve and/or re-architect and/or write new algorithms for functional performance
• Provide formal and informal technology mentorship to team members
• Innovate and dig out patentable solutions to product/technical requirements
• Keep an eye out for technology trends, open source projects that can be used

Skills

• Proficiency in Java / Go / Python / Ruby
• Proficiency in Erlang / Elixir / Scala
• Strong knowledge of algorithms & data structures
• Strong mathematical background
• Strong RDBMS knowledge & exposure to NoSQL
• Know-how of common architectures
• Well-versed with performance & scalability practices
• Exposure to micro-services
• Analytical & problem solver with attention to detail architecture
• Skilled at thorough REST API designs
• Exposure to queuing systems
• Software work & e ort estimation
• Knowledge of distributed systems
• Can write clean design documents
• Experience
• 8+ experience in software industry, preferably 1+ years as a technical architect
• Past experience in algorithmic-heavy and computationally intensive systems is preferred
• Experience in Supply chain and logistics will act as a bonus Degree
• Engineering or science background is preferred
• Specialization in Computer-Science or MOOCs (edX, Coursera) certifications are added bonus
