Job Summary
  • To communicate with internal and external parties
  • To review, and evaluate clients documents according scheme requirements
  • To determine the risks of processes and/or products specific for the assigned modules

  • To understand, and judge based on information in reports for the specific modules assigned

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Facilitate, monitor and ensure correct certification process
  • Implementation of new and/or updated documents - internally and externally
  • Marketing and information, offers, management of clients and relations, filing offers
  • Checking returned offers, Client Files, sending Criteria and invoice to client, scheduling first assessments
  • Monitoring assessments and non-conformities
  • Checking assessment documentation, drafting, signing and sending of report
  • Checking report, certification decision, certification mark, signing and sending certificate
  • Management of execution of post certification activities: scheduling of assessments, invoice, decision to suspend or withdraw certification, written information for reduction, suspension or withdrawal of certificate, updating the List of Certificates and Clients, trace ability actions
  • Making certification decision
  • Assistance with handling of claims and appeals
  • Monitoring of (Senior) assessors
  • Training of assistants, identifies and proposes the need for training of assessors
  • Registration, investigation, handling and follow-up of complaints
  • Registration, selection, implementation and follow-up of improvements

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree in Textiles
  • Minimum experience of 4 years in Textile or related industry
  • Knowledge of client products, processes in Textile
  • Experience and knowledge of business management practices
  • Experience and knowledge of sustainable and organic textile certification schemes would be advantageous
  • Good command of English: in speech and in writing
  • Excellent report writing, presentation skills
  • Team management and training skills
  • Proficient with MS Office
