Job Summary

Job description





Cloud Architect - Skillset

  • Needs architectural knowledge on everything involved with cloud computing, including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, delivery, and networks required to manage cloud storage.
  • Needs to be experienced in agile development environments
  • Needs good knowledge of at least one operating system: Linux, Unix, Solaris, Ubuntu, or Windows
  • Needs working knowledge of at-least one programming language - preferably Python, Java or C#
  • Must have good understanding of Networking and Data storage fundamentals

    • Must have min of 3-5+ years hands-on experience in:

  • Designing Application architecture - Data Analytics Solutions, designing for Scalability, availability and recovery
  • Implementing Cloud Security
  • Defining the Data Architecture
  • Building and implementing Automation and Orchestration services
  • Virtualization or Infrastructure architecture (I&O (input and output))
  • Integration architecture - Network (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, CDN, VPN, etc.), identity, services and data

    • Preferable Certification in:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
    • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
