Job Summary Position Purpose

The HR Generalist role is responsible for Executing & Implementing all HR activities, processes & initiatives designed & customized for their respective business vertical. The role works closely with the particular vertical/ department, and is responsible to ensure effective & efficient HR service delivery in line with established organizational standards, norms & service levels.

Strategic Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities
  • Implement HR processes for the business in line with the design at corporate (HR processes include all talent management processes)
  • Ensure high service levels for resolution of HR queries, issues and complaints
  • Ensure up-time & optimum working of all HR systems & technology infrastructure
  • Foster the acceptance of HR initiatives and implementation in their function, drives appropriate journey management and provides function specific inputs for appropriate implementation planning
  • Drive the adoption of newly designed HR processes, practices, systems & initiatives for the respective vertical/ department
  • Serve as the HR point of contact for the vertical/ department leadership for raising HR requirements and seeking HR specific support
  • Proactively drive HR process improvement initiatives to ensure consistency & service deliver excellence
  • Participate in a broad range of HR processes as defined in the process descriptions primarily by setting priorities, reviewing solutions, providing planning input, and communicating to business leadership
  • Monitor performance against established performance metrics for the HR function and report to the leadership in a timely manner
  • Support the business with key HR data, analytics & insights to enable decision-making

Education Qualification

Masters degree in Human Resource Management from reputed college

Work Experience

5-10years of experience in human resources function

  • Good knowledge of data interpretation & analysis
  • Knowledge of contemporary HR policies and practices balancing the need for employee friendliness with the need for control and governance and talent attraction and retention.
