Job Description

Role Assistant Manager Specification Product Stewardship

Location: Marol, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

1. Keep real-time update on regulatory requirements and support R&D, Operations and Sales Teams to ensure compliance
2. Proactively work with external and internal stakeholders to present Pidilite as a front runner in environmental compliance and facilitate approvals / enlisting wherever required
3. Play a pivotal role to ensure R&D and Manufacturing Plants adopt state of the art processes for traceability and regulatory compliance to meet requirements of key customers, brands & retailers as well as independent ecology bodies
4. Compliance Management:
Understand and stay updated on regulatory requirements and restricted substances usage of RSL, MRSL, ZDHC, GOTS, Eco-Tex, REACH, Blue Sign etc.
Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing Plants and Technical Service Teams to ensure that all documentation processes to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance for requirements of different stakeholders are always in place
Enforce compliance through rigorous audit processes with the help of internal and external audit partners
5. Engagement with external partners:
Regularly participate in external conferences, stake-holder meetings to understand, update and present Pidilite as a responsible partner
Engage with Regulatory Bodies such as Eco-Tex, ZDHC, REACH and Compliance Teams of Brands & Retailers to understand changes and promote Pidilite
6. Documentation and Certification:
Update regulatory data for raw materials and MSDS
Ensure updation and quick response to certification requirements of various stakeholders such as customers, Brands & Retailers etc
Create and publish promotional material on Pidilite products with respect to environmental compliance
Ensure accurate data is available on product labels in line with GLM formats
7. Innovation:
Understand ecological trends and provide input to product development
Ensure that ecological requirements for products are accurately captured in the Innovation Process
8. Training:
Conduct regular training to sales teams, Dealers and Customers on regulatory requirements to help them stay updated

Experience / Skills :
1. B. Tech in Chemical/ Textiles, M.Sc. Chemistry with 5 to 7 years of experience


Qualification :
B. Tech in Chemical/ Textiles, M.Sc. Chemistry
Experience Required :

Minimum 5 Years
