Staff Software Engineer Job in Planview Portfolio Management

Responsibilities Proactively anticipate and solve significant technical risks Provide high-level estimates for design options with recommendations and assessments/mitigations of potential problems. Design and develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle. Determine operational feasibility by evaluating and analyzing problem definitions, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Improve operations by conducting technical analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures. Lead team members to achieve their best by supporting a culture of mentorship, continual learning, knowledge sharing of best practices, and contributing to the positive discussion and debate of ideas. Support customer escalations and resolve production incidents to improve customer success. Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 7+ years of experience with Java, and its idioms and design patterns 2+ years of experience working with remote / distributed teams and projects 2+ years of experience improving team performance by coaching team members 1+ years of experience with relational database such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle 1+ years of experience with AngularJS or React Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant systems Experience working with Java v11 & v17, XML, JSON, API-design & API-client design A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams with clear communication Experience with continuous integration/deployment tooling such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or others
