  • Provide assistance, administer and coordinate in the use of computer hardware, software and any other specialized computer/information technology or operate a multi-platform computer environment or monitor the assembly/procurement scheduling, execution, and successful completion of assembly/procurement work including for ERP and other IT systems;
  • Set up and configure computers, peripherals and accounts assigning security level including for ERP and other IT systems;
  • Install software and install and repair hardware and peripherals including for ERP and other IT systems;
  • Test programs including for ERP and other IT systems;
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, implement corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalate to other technical resources as appropriate including for ERP and other IT systems;
  • Maintain ERP and other IT systems, databases and web pages;
  • Administer user accounts in the ERP and other IT systems;
  • Design and produce basic reports in the ERP and other IT systems;
  • Setup and submit assembly/procurement work and edits and debug computer output including for ERP and other IT systems;
  • Transfer computer files & migrate data between platforms including for ERP and other IT systems;
  • Provide basic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for computer equipment and may assist with testing computers and peripherals on a network to diagnose, hardware versus software problems including for ERP and other IT systems;
  • Act as a liaison on behalf of the company for the computing operation, communicating, resolving, and/or initiating the resolution of problems and concerns including for ERP and other IT systems;
  • Arrange for distribution of output to company staff including for ERP and other IT systems;
  • Help in maintaining records in ERP and other IT systems;
  • Help the users in making/doing entries in the ERP System as well as any other software and IT Systems as required;
  • Provide ERP training to users for Engineering modules, Accounting & Finance modules, HR Payroll modules, Manufacturing modules, Procurement modules, Sales and CRM modules etc.
  • Coordinate between internal company branches and offices related to ERP & IT matters.
  • Coordinate between the vendors and company with respect to ERP & IT matters.
  • Do any other tasks that may be allocated by the Management.
  • Typical Requirements

    Education: B.E. (I.T.)/B.Tech. (I.T.)/MCA/BCA/M.Sc. IT graduate or equivalent with ERP knowledge and data processing training, computer operations training, or experience in a multi-operation system or assembly/procurement control environment preferred.

    Skills and Experience: 3 to Fiveor more years of related experience with computers and providing customer service in a technological environment especially for ERP Systems. May require the knowledge of a variety of hardware as well as software, programming languages, and operation systems. May be tested on appropriate computer skills as required.
