Job Overview
We are hiring a Backend Python Developer (SDE II) to join our growing engineering team in Indore. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing robust backend systems and APIs using Python. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with complex backend architectures and integrating third-party services.

You will collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps teams, and product managers to build scalable and high-performance systems that power next-gen aviation technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write efficient, scalable, and reusable Python code.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Integrate applications with third-party web services, including:
    • Database updates based on business logic
    • File interaction with remote SFTP servers via Python scripts
    • Calling external REST APIs for various use cases
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Design, implement, and optimize relational and non-relational databases.
  • Translate product requirements into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and continuously improve skillsets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 2 5 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
  • Proficiency in building REST APIs and server-side logic.
  • Experience with database design (SQL and/or NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with SFTP integration, file handling, and external API consumption.
  • Strong debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
  • Good understanding of software architecture, backend frameworks, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of security best practices for backend development
