Responsibilities Job description for Analyst (Tier 2) RIS ESOP consulting helps business owners to build, protect and grow their businesses. ESOP are retirement plans that help business owners transition the ownership of their company over time, providing them with a valuable source of liquidity and an ongoing legacy. Catering to the need of the plan sponsor to understand the nature of their plan, a Retirement Plan Executive Summary (RPES) document is created annually for each client and a database maintained for all clients to facilitate this document creation and to store additional metrics for internal company use. The goal of the RPES is to create a robust, flexible tool that streamlines plan data and trends. In this role, with general guidance, the individual would provide support for retirement plan consulting staff creating and delivering RPES documents and maintaining the associated database. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for going through financial statements of varied nature of businesses. Understand past and current financials of clients. Collecting and inputting data into Retirement Plan database. Creating and delivering various documents and reports. Expected to have attention to detail and accuracy of data collected and prepared. Skills needed: Basic understanding of Accounting & Financial concepts & terminologies Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office tools like Word and PowerPoint Ability to handle large vol of data. Ability to handle internal customer interactions with good interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Qualifications Minimum 15 years of accounting education. 2 years of relevant work experience in Finance/Accounts function with Commerce graduation/post-graduation/ Full time 2 years MBA Finance OR CA/ICWA Intermediate with Articleship experience and/or relevant work experience in Finance/Accounts function
