Job Summary
Develop communications packages to log in to brokerages' FTP sites and download data into appropriate servers. Automate the downloading. When data are missing, wait and search again at defined intervals to download data missed earlier. Compare the downloaded data files to the source and the recent download history to ensure their integrity. Archive and maintain the downloaded data for future investigations. Develop interfaces to process the downloaded data and format the records for the fast reconciliation process.
