Roles and Responsibilities


Job Description:


  • Should be Strong on Oracle RDB 7.X on HP OpenVMS
  • Good to have JCC Replication Knowledge
  • Candidates with Oracle 10g/11g/12c... Are not eligible for this requirement, so don't apply.
  • Should be Master in Installing & Upgrading Oracle RDB 7.x
  • Should have Expensive experience in database maintenance activities backups, Restores, Recovery, Rebuild, Reorgs, Security, User management, capacity management, Archiving
  • Should be Good In Database health checks Verify, Analyze, rebuild index, Rebuild Database.
  • Should be Very Good in maintenance & management of DB Objects:- Tables, Views, Indexes, Triggers, Constraints, Stored Procedures, sequences,... etc
  • Should be Master in Migration of Databases across the platforms
  • Should be strong in Database Replication technologies.
  • Database Tuning Extensive experience understanding, owning and maintaining of performance tuning
  • Root Cause Analysis - Experience diagnosing operational issues and determining root cause including any tools for analysis.
  • Good to have Scripting experience OpenVMS
  • Must be Willing to learn new database technologies
  • Must be participating in Building the Knowledge Repositories in the team & Willing to help, assist other team members in Team
