SAP Hana Performance Analyst

Overview

SAP DW Performance Analyst Must have a solid understanding of the issues that affect query performance in SAP HANA

Must possess an advanced level of SQL expertise including performance tuning, indexes, data storage methods, etc.

Should have 4+ years SAP HANA development experience including Calculation View creation Preferred 2+ years HANA DBA or equivalent experience administering and monitoring database systems

Should understand how to identify and evaluate poorly performing queries in SAP HANA using the admin console and system tables

Should be comfortable reading and interpreting explain plans, visualize plans, trace logs, etc. and troubleshooting performance issues Demonstrated experience in simulating production-level performance load in an ongoing development project

Should be comfortable in a distributed cloud computing environment and RESTful web services Will devise plans for identifying bottlenecks, exposing potential problems, tracking these and effectively communicating with the rest of the team; is expected to be proactive A background in tuning ETL jobs in BODS, SSIS, Informatica or similar tool is considered helpful

Should have a fundamental understanding of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC); building and testing data models

Experience with SAP Data Hub or SAP Data Intelligence using the Monitoring Application, Grafana and Kibana a big plus

Python scripting knowledge is preferred

Experience with load/performance testing tools (Neoload, Loadrunner, etc.) is welcome

Qualifications

B.E / B. Tech / MCA / Masters in computer science or any other equivalent experience is preferred.
