Desired Profile:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and API- s
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high quality code culture

Key Skills:

• Expert level knowledge of Android with at least 3+ years of experience developing Android based applications.
• Deep understanding of the internals of Android Frameworks.
• Good knowledge in OOPS concepts and JAVA
• Detailed knowledge of Android APIs, including animation and building custom views.
• Exposure with Android SDK development.
• Exposure in building mobile applications that utilizes web services (SOAP / REST / JSON / XML).
• Exposure with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Good knowledge of database (MySQL, SQLlite/ MongoDB)
• Exposure to Hybrid frameworks like Phonegap, Xamarin, Appcelerator Titanium, etc., is a plus
