Job Summary General Summary: This role focuses on camera end-to-end use case design and feature implementation with a systems-level understanding of the camera processing pipeline. The engineer will work with advanced technologies in Android, Linux, and camera systems, contributing to Qualcomm s innovations in imaging and camera features. The role demands collaboration with internal test teams and external teams, strong ownership of tasks, and a willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Feature Design & Implementation: Design and implement camera use cases and features. Develop and optimize the camera processing pipeline. 2. Android Frameworks & System-Level Debugging: Work with Android Frameworks, HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), and ISPs (Image Signal Processors). Debug system-level issues in test embedded systems. 3. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal test teams and external stakeholders. Communicate effectively to triage and resolve issues. 4. Code Development & Optimization: Develop efficient solutions using C, C++, and Java. Apply strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Required: Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: Technical Skills: Proficiency in C, C++, and Java. Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and trees. Expertise in Android Frameworks, HAL, Linux, and camera features. Experience with Image Signal Processors (ISPs) and debugging tools. Soft Skills: Detail-oriented and analytical. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ownership of tasks with a proactive attitude. Experience Range: 2-6 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Traits: Eagerness to learn new technologies. Ability to work in large teams and handle collaborative projects effectively. Strong triage and debugging skills at a system level.
