Front-End Developer

As a Front-End developer, your duties will include turning wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code and building high-quality UI components with scalability in mind. You will produce visual elements of the application and work closely with UI/UX designers, bridging the gap between graphical design and technical implementation taking an active role on both sides.

What You Will Be Doing

• Developing features with best practices to enhance the user experience
• Write high-quality, scalable, reusable code and libraries for future use
• Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Ensure application design is optimized for mobile devices
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends

Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4+ years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Basic understanding of LESS and SASS
• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery
• Knowledge of frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS, or Vue.js
• Strong understanding of semantic HTML5, microformats, and WAI-ARIA
• Experience with AJAX and asynchronous request handling
• Cross-browser compatibility troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Git or SVN
• Experience with build tools like Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design
• Problem-solving attitude
• Collaborative team spirit
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Good to Have

• Basic image editing skills (Photoshop or Illustrator preferred)
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
