Full Stack Engineer Job in Qualys, Inc.

Description

We are seeking highly motivated and talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to work on Qualys Cloud Platform technologies. You will be responsible to design highly dynamic and scalable multi-tier production web application built on top of Java based backend services and libraries, SQL or NoSQL databases or React frontend

Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and Deliver web based applications and services using, Java, ReactJS, ExtJS (JavaScript), Hibernate JPA, NoSQL
• Deliver new features and improvements in a fast paced environment as part of a growing engineering team
• Work closely with cross-functional groups and marketing to understand develop on product requirements
• Research new technologies and incorporate their usage into new products or services
• Able to drive results and set priorities independently
• Be a Technical Go-To person for your area of expertise

Skills and Qualification:

• Bachelors/Masters/Doctorate in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed institute
• 3-6 years of experience in combination of skills like Python, Java, Hibernate along with HTML, CSS and browser DOM
• Object-Oriented Javascript, AJAX, ExtJS/ReactJS/AngularJS framework
• Good Understanding of relational databases or NoSQL databases like Cassandra or similar
• Good understanding of queuing and streaming components like Kafka
• Good understanding of DevOps practices
• Skilled in identifying performance bottlenecks, identifying anomalous system behavior, and determining the root cause
• Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, high-availability, and disaster recovery
• Proficient with debugging and testing tools to troubleshoot and optimize the UI
• Understanding of front-end security best practices and XSS, CSRF, etc.
• Experience of evaluating and working with Open Source software is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Good understanding of Cloud Technologies ( Kubernetes preferred).
