Job Summary

Qualys is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst with strong financial modeling and MS Excel skills to manage Marketing business unit, including the annual budget plan, long term plan, regular forecast process, and for providing analytical support to senior management


Responsibilities:

* Own the Marketing budget preparation and quarterly forecasts
* Coordinate across both business and FP&A teams to support reporting requirements and drive cross functional alignment
* Build review packages, forecast models, and handle day-to-day activities related to forecasting/planning
* Build and maintain effective business partnerships within the organization
* Prepare variance analysis to identify and explain variances to the budget/forecast
* Perform ad hoc modeling and analysis
* Assist with preparation for earnings callsand board material preparation


Qualifications:

* Bachelors in accounting/finance, MBA preferred
* 4-6 years FP&A experience, supporting Marketing business unit
* Strong understanding of financial statements, ability to analyze financial results and a strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
* Ability to develop and update complex financial models
* Ability to question the output of a financial model and consider options for improvement
* Understanding of accounting concepts (revenue recognition concepts, expense timing, capitalization policies, etc.)
* Strong relationship building and communication skills, experience and desire to work cross-functionally
* Strong business and analytical skills; ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a continually evolving environment
* Strong Excel experience (macros, pivots, look-ups, logic functions, etc.)
* Knowledge of Netsuite, Coupa and Anaplan preferred
