Senior Process Engineer Job in Quanta Process Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

We, at Quanta Process Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (Quanta), are a leading mid-sized design and engineering company specialised in front-end engineering design. We undertake projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering starting from concept to commissioning of the plant. This position shall further strengthen our front-end as well as detail engineering skills. Strong process engineering skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual Process Design and Process Optimization Studies
• Technology assessment and selection, including economic evaluation
• Process modelling and simulation
• Development of PFDs along with heat and mass balance calculation
• Process design and datasheet development of equipment
• Instrument process datasheet development
• Safety, environmental and operability reviews (HAZOP, HAZID)
• P&ID development, including selection of design conditions, hydraulic calculations, line sizing and pipe specifications, equipment isolation, vent and drain systems, cause and effects
• Participate in design review meetings with the clients
• Preparing technical proposal development and carrying out techno-commercial discussion with client
• Conduct documents review with client

Requirements

Qualifications andExperience:

• Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering
• 3-6 years work experience in the Process Engineering

• Bachelors or Masters in Chemical Engineering
• Extensive experience in process design, interdisciplinary coordination & change management
• Knowledge of various Industry Codes and Standards
• Domain knowledge and expertise in oil & gas/hydrocarbons/chemical processing applications
• Exposure to process simulation software (PROII/Aspen Plus/HYSYS) and heat exchanger design / rating software (HTRI/HTFS)
• Sound academics from a reputed institute and good communication skills in verbal & written English
• Knowledge of various Industry Codes and Standards
• Excellent communication skills in verbal & written English
• Good people skills, interpersonal relationship management, team player
