We are looking for a highly experienced Vice President of Sales with over 15 years of demonstrated success in enterprise-level direct sales, specifically targeting the USA and Canada markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services and software sales, with deep knowledge of the US market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide strategic direction to the inside sales team to achieve ambitious revenue targets of $2-4 million USD per annum.
- Develop and execute effective outbound sales strategies focused on solution selling of software development services.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure unified market penetration strategies.
- Identify and engage prospective enterprise customers, driving both acquisition and retention of complex enterprise solutions.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of software technologies, industry trends, and market dynamics within the North American IT sector.
- Deliver compelling presentations and foster long-term client relationships through exceptional communication and customer service.
- Partner effectively across departments including Sales, Engineering, Development, and Marketing to drive cohesive growth.
- Frequent travel to USA and Canada is required; prior experience traveling in these markets is essential.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 15+ years of direct sales leadership experience with a strong focus on the US and Canadian IT services markets.
- Proven track record of generating revenues between $2 million and $4 million USD annually.
- Expertise in complex enterprise solution sales and software development services.
- Exceptional strategic planning, communication, and leadership skills.
- Prior experience traveling frequently to the USA and Canada markets.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and teams to meet business goals.
